Rules & Regulations
1. League Format
The league runs every Monday from February 23 – April 20 weekly.
Feb 23 – March 30 – Regular season
April 6 – April 13 – Playoffs
Week 1, Top 50% of teams
Week 2, Tournament to Championship
April 20 – Singles/Double Championship
Games start promptly at 6:00 pm. Players are welcome to come early at 4pm.
Players must be registered as a single or doubles team.
Signup for singles is limited to the first 20 people (20 teams)
Doubles is limited to the first 24 people (12 teams)
Singles may also register in a doubles team.
There is a $15 per person registration fee. $15 for a singles team, $30 for doubles
League organizers reserve the right to adjust format based on attendance.
2. Match Structure (2 Tables)
4 Rounds of Play each Monday
1. Singles – Random Draw
2. Singles – Winners vs. Losers
3. Doubles – Random Draw
4. Doubles – Winner vs. Losers
Matches are best-of-three games.
Each game is played to 11 points.
A player/team must win by 2 points.
15 Minute time limit per match.
If time is limited, organizers may shorten matches
Scoring
· Win: 3 points
· Loss: 1 point
· Forfeit: 0 points
· Attendance: 1 point/week
3. Serving Rules
Serve must be struck behind the end line and tossed or dropped (no hidden serves).
The ball must bounce once on the server’s side and once on the receiver’s side.
Serves alternate every 2 points.
At deuce (10–10), serves alternate every point.
4. Gameplay Rules
A legal hit must land on the opponent’s side of the table.
Edge balls count.
Net balls that go over during play are legal.
Volleys (hitting the ball before it bounces) are not allowed.
5. Doubles Play (If Applicable)
Serves must go diagonally from right court to right court.
Partners may not switch positions during a point.
6. Equipment
League-approved paddles and balls will be provided, but personal paddles are allowed.
Alcoholic beverages must not be placed on the table during play.
7. Sportsmanship
Respect opponents, teammates, and league staff at all times.
Excessive arguing, taunting, or aggressive behavior may result in point penalties or removal from the league.
Good vibes only—this is meant to be fun.
8. Alcohol & Conduct
Players are expected to drink responsibly.
Intentionally distracting opponents or stalling play is not allowed.
League staff may remove players who are excessively intoxicated.
9. Scoring & Standings
Wins and losses determine standings.
Tiebreakers may be decided by head-to-head results or point differential.
Missed matches may be recorded as a forfeit at the organizer’s discretion.
10. Late Arrival & Forfeits
Players arriving more than 10 minutes late may forfeit the match.
If a player cannot attend, notice should be given before league night when possible.
11. Disputes & Rulings
League organizers have final say on all disputes.
Judgment calls during play should be resolved quickly to keep matches moving.
12. Prizes & Championships
End-of-season champions receive trophy, Hideout swag and $100 Gift Card
13. Rule Changes
Rules may be adjusted during the season to improve league flow or fairness.
Players will be notified of any changes.
